Do I need an appointment to visit?

Some visits are by appointment, especially for groups and during quieter periods. Please check our Visit page and contact us before coming.

Can I see a real Sefer Torah up close?

Yes. Our exhibitions include genuine sifrei Torah, megillot, and manuscripts, with context on how they were made and preserved.

Do you repair Torah scrolls?

Yes. We specialize in older sifrei Torah and offer inspection, repair, and conservation. See our Services page.

I have a scroll to donate or find a home for. What do I do?

Please see Donate Your Scroll for how it works, or contact us directly. We handle every scroll with halachic guidance.

Are donations tax-deductible?

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so gifts may be tax-deductible. For non-cash gifts above certain values the IRS generally requires a qualified appraisal. We provide written acknowledgment but are not tax advisors — please consult your own accountant.

Are you open on Shabbat or Jewish holidays?

No. The Museum is closed on Shabbat and Jewish holidays.
