Support the Museum
Every scroll here was found, examined, repaired, and placed with a community. Donations pay for parchment repair, the sofrim who do the work, and free admission.
The Museum of the Scroll is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law, and a receipt is emailed automatically.
Every scroll in our care was almost lost. Your support is what stands between a sacred text and oblivion — and there is a way to give at every level:
- Dedicate a Letter — from $1, the classic mitzvah. Dedicate letters →
- Become a Guardian — a dollar a day sustains the rescue work. Join the Guardians →
- Give any amount — one-time gifts go directly to conservation and education. Use the Donate button in our menu.
- Donate a scroll or manuscript — a Torah in need of rescue, a family manuscript, a genizah find. Tell us about it →
- Sponsor the Museum — businesses and foundations can sponsor exhibits, rescues, and programs with proper acknowledgment. Our sponsors →
Help Save a Scroll — the Right Way
A Sefer Torah has 304,805 letters — and every one must be whole. Dedicate letters at $1 each toward the rescue and repair of lost scrolls.
A dollar a day can help save a scroll the right way — parchment conservation, sofrim, and free public access. Become a Guardian of the Scroll.
